Hi Gman, thanks for a nice, fun & informative place to come to & learn/share all things acoustic. As a hardened metal rocker now blues-ing/acoustic-ing in his middle ages, I find the site very useful, especially the finger hardening tips, (pun intended)!

Ive been a recreational player for over 35 years, although I play almost every day, mostly for relaxation, but also to keep my fingers nimble (Im a dentist--same muscles and all that stuff). I spent 2 days going through your site picking up some great ideas. Definitely one of the best sites out there--keep up the good work.

I bought a black Fender electric (I couldnt afford an amp) back in the 70s when I was 15 thinking I was going to play it. After a week, with my fingers hurting, I took it back (I still kick myself for that) because I had better intentions for my fingers at age 15.

Now, in my mid-40s, Im starting all over again but I have a new mind-set. Hurting fingers and all, I will one day be able to play through a song and have someone (probably my wife) say "hey, I almost recognized that one".

Thanks for a great site to bookmark and refer to on a regular basis!

Ive been playing both accoustic & electric off & on for 25yrs+ and have never seen anything like this!
I wish I hadve found it sooner. Its great to see so much passion being shared around. I couldve also saved a few nice guitars with the dos & donts within. Excellent! Pure Brilliance! Keep it up! Your site has now been saved to my Favourites list.
